Who we are
tokyyy is operated by Music Reactions d.o.o., VAT ID HR22145840365 (“tokyyy”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the tokyyy customer app and of tokyyy cards. By creating an account you agree to them. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
What tokyyy is
tokyyy lets you hold a card issued by a venue or event organiser (“Venue”), see the tokens on it, add more, and send tokens to other users. Tokens are prepaid credit that can be spent on goods and services at the Venue that issued the card.
Tokens are not money, not electronic money and not legal tender. They carry no interest and have no value outside the Venue that issued them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Your account
Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date. Keep your password and your PIN to yourself: anyone who has them can spend the tokens on your cards. Tell us at support@tokyyy.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
Cards and balances
A tokyyy card carries only an identifier. Your balance and history are held on our servers, not on the card, so a lost card does not expose them.
Cards do not expire. They remain valid until they are deactivated. You can deactivate a card in the app if it is lost or stolen, and a Venue may deactivate a card it issued.
A card can be linked to one account at a time. Linking a card gives you access to the balance already on it, so only link cards that are yours.
Buying tokens
You can buy tokens at the Venue, or in the app by card. The Venue sets the price and is the seller of the tokens; payment goes to the Venue through our payment processor, Stripe.
Purchases in the app are charged in euro. tokyyy charges a service fee on app purchases, which is shown to you before you pay and included in the total. The price and fee are displayed before you confirm; nothing is charged until you do.
Sending tokens
You can send tokens to another tokyyy user holding a card from the same Venue. Transfers are immediate and cannot be reversed by us, so check the recipient before you confirm.
Refunds
Tokens are not exchangeable for cash and are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If tokens were added to your card in error, or a payment was taken and no tokens arrived, contact us at support@tokyyy.com and we will put it right.
Questions about goods or services bought with tokens are for the Venue that supplied them.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account releases any cards linked to it. Tokens remaining on a card are not refunded when you delete your account.
We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, to tamper with cards or balances, or otherwise in breach of these terms.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, particularly during events, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. Where the app is unavailable, Venues can still serve you through their own systems.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for operating the tokyyy service and for keeping your balance recorded accurately. We are not responsible for the goods and services a Venue provides, for a Venue’s own pricing or opening hours, or for losses caused by someone using your account because your password or PIN was shared. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
